Albert Einstein College of Medicine got a $1billion donation from one of the donors, Ruth Gottesman. She is a former professor and the widow of a Wall Street investor. This investment is marked as one of the greatest investments in the educational sector.

Ruth Gottesman was a former professor of this institute. Here, she was conducting her research on learning about disabilities, created screening examinations and oversaw literacy initiatives.

She said, “ I’m Happy to Share With You That, Starting in August, This Year The Albert Einstein College of Medicine Will Be Tuition Free”

As soon as she said that quote, students present at the hall burst into happiness, some started to cry.

One of the students named Trever Barker expressed his feelings in an interview with CBS Morning. He said,

For a minute I was staring blankly as I was processing, but then I started to think about it could mean for my family and taking care of my mom throughout medical school and being able to care of her after graduate financially”

It usually takes more than $60,0000 to study here but now it’s totally for current and future students. It becomes very hard to bear these expenses but those who suffered from money now have no worry.

Ruth Gottesman is a 93 years old lady who is connected with this college for 55 years. His late husband was one of the richest investors in the country and now she has invested this much for the future doctors.
